This project received the Master Builders Brisbane Regional Award for “Excellence in Commercial Construction”, in the category of Educational and Medical Facilities under $4 million.
As a specialist day hospital with two theatres, the fit-out was an involved and complex process involving specialist input from a wide variety of sources including consultants, subcontractors and Queensland Health representatives. An ability to manage the competing needs of various stakeholders throughout the project was critical in ensuring the project progressed within the agreed timeframe and with minimal disruption to other tenants.
The feedback received from the hospital resulted in the company being unanimously voted by the partners of Brisbane Endoscopy Services to complete other work planned at their Sunnybank facility.
The construction of a fully operational medical Centre consisting of 6 consulting rooms, a gymnasium, dirty room, procedure room, managers offices, disabled amenities, staff amenities (including shower and staff room), storerooms, and a reception area complete with coffee lounge for both patients and the public.
Refurbishment and extension of a medical centre which included new carparks, play areas and landscaping. The refurbishment consisted of staffrooms and amenities, interview rooms, waiting rooms and reception. The new attached extension consisted of public amenities, 3 consulting rooms, treatment, sterilising and screening rooms.
Stage 1 involved a fit-out and refurbishment of an existing medical centre. The project consisted of 4 consulting rooms and a new reception area. Feedback from both the architect and the client was excellent and resulted in us being asked to complete the second stage of the project. Stage 2 involved an extension into the existing vacant lot and incorporated staffrooms, amenities, recovery room and an additional four consulting rooms and an office.
An extension fit-out to an existing centre, which involved the addition of two blood rooms for Sullivan Nicolades and 2 skin rooms, plus an additional consulting room and the expansion of the existing reception area to house a small coffee shop for customers and staff.
